Thank you for dropping in! Due to the ongoing global pandemic our plans have changed. The safety of our family and friends is paramount to us. For that reason, we are holding a more intimate ceremony. To accommodate everyone we want to share our special day with, we are splitting the celebration into two parts: a brunch and an after-party. These events will be limited to mitigate potential risks. Keep your eyes peeled for your invitation in the mail!

Our First Date
Our first date was in October of 2015. We went to TACO TUESDAY at El Guapo in downtown Tulsa, we then headed over to the Fur Shop for drinks and conversation. We decided to go on a second date--the next day!
Always Looking Forward
We like to plan. A Lot. We are always planning for something... Our next big purchase, a vacation, meals for the next week, a wedding, you name it! Right now, we are re-planning everything...
Some things you just can't plan for. *ahem* Our Proposal
Because I'm a math nerd, I planned the proposal date for September 27, 2018. The Gathering Place was recently completed and held a lights show every evening at 9 pm. For the previous two years our anniversary dinner was at Bodean's, an upscale seafood restaurant in Tulsa, and this year was no different. After sitting down to a fantastic dinner at 7:30 pm, we got ready to head downtown to the park when we realized the driver's door wouldn't close all the way. The door latch had broken before we went into the restaurant and the car was unlocked the whole time! We couldn't go to the park and leave the door unlocked for another hour so we drove back home with Rachel holding the driver's door closed with a tow rope. After switching cars, we went to the park anyways, missing the lights show. Undeterred, but slightly disappointed, I proposed to Rachel on the top deck of the Williams Lodge overlooking the pond. The next month, we went back to see the lights show we'd missed and Rachel surprised me with an engagement ring! I guess it all worked out in the end.
